I had been talking to Nikki via text and Instagram for a while, planning to photograph their wedding later this year, but we had not had the chance to meet yet. So I was really excited to finally put a face to a name and also get to know Charles as well. She shared that they had never had professional photos taken before and had no idea what to expect. I told them not to worry at all, I would guide them, bring ideas, and make sure the whole experience felt easy and fun.

They have such a sweet, goofy connection together, which made photographing them that much more enjoyable. We spent about an hour walking all over the grove and trails and ended up with so many great photos.
